Remarks: CARMINE HOME works with young Dutch taxidermists who prepare animals from zoos and aviaries after they die and give them a second life. The animal specimen is not only a didactic tool in natural history but has long been widespread in interior design. This is the third time these young artists have been awarded an international design prize.||No animals were harmed or killed. The animals all died of natural causes and were neither killed nor tortured for the purpose. For species-protected animal preparations, CARMINE HOME issues an internationally recognized CITES certificate and thus fulfills the provisions of the Washington Convention on the Protection of Endangered Species of 1975.
