In the building inventory of the Canton of Bern
Around 10% of all buildings in the Canton of Bern are classified as worthy of protection or preservation in the building inventory. For restorations in such properties, 20 to 40 percent of the value-retaining costs are often eligible for subsidies.
We regularly work within this framework – with the Heritage Conservation Office of the City of Bern and the cantonal Heritage Conservation Office – and would be happy to clarify the key points with you.
