A rare and authentic Louis Vuitton Steamer trunk from the period circa 1905–1920, made in the famous Monogram Canvas finish, introduced in 1896 by Georges Vuitton . The chest bears the historic address labels “1, Rue Scribe, Paris” and “149 New Bond Street, London”, which suggest it was manufactured between 1897 and 1936.

The trunk exhibits all the hallmarks of an early original: riveted brass fittings, stamped locks and corners engraved with "SGDG PATENT," original leather handles, and the serial number 023493 on the lock. Inside, the trunk features original linen lining, functional straps, and a typical organization system of the period. The patina and signs of wear are commensurate with its age and underscore its authenticity.

Condition: Very well-preserved original condition with age-appropriate patina. Minimal signs of wear, as is typical for travel-loved chests of this type. Interior complete and functional. No visible structural damage.
